St. George & the Dragon
A digital media installation for the National Museum of Finland, part of the Pious and the Pagans exhibition at Häme Castle, Finland.
Fragmented ancient statues were digitized and reconstructed using 3D software. The display design used four stereoscopic viewing points. Each view is synchronised to a central rotating model that indicated the starting point for the scene reconstruction. When observing through the viewpoints, the synchronisation created an illusion of artistic augmented reality.
